Leighton Fraser posted an emotional tribute to his late wife Thursday morning, vowing he would raise their six children to the “absolute best” ability.

“To the love of my life,” the Facebook post began.

“I’m sure I got the chance to tell you how much your presence in my life has made me a better man or how much you meant to me.

“I hope that in the years we’ve spent side by side, my actions have told you every day that I love you more than words can describe.”

“The thought of you not being here with me is so unreal.”

Fraser said he knew his wife was “here” and that she “would sit on the throne of God in awe of him, as we had always discussed.”

“So as I look to our future, I promise to raise the children to the best of my ability and I promise to always honor the wonderful person you are,” he wrote.

‘Till I see you again, rest in peace my darling. I will always love and cherish you.

“Gone but never forget.”

WA Police have released a statement in lieu of the crash, warning motorists that it is a stark reminder of how lives can be turned upside down in the blink of an eye.

“In addition to the tragic loss of life in this crash, there are six children and the truck driver who have all personally experienced a traumatic event and need ongoing support,” the report said.

‘These kinds of incidents also have consequences for the police officers and other emergency workers who are on the scene and who provide permanent care for those involved.’

Major Crash’s detectives will investigate the circumstances of the crash and anyone with dashcam footage of the collision is asked to contact police.
