Women workers are forced to strip naked as part of daily checks to prevent theft of undercover footage from the Russian version of Amazon, run by the country’s top female oligarch

A leaked video shows women being forced to strip naked and subjected to body searches to make sure they don’t bring any prohibited items into or out of their Wildberries workplace.

The company is headed by Putin-friendly oligarch Tatyana Bakalchuk, 47, a self-made billionaire, mother of seven and a former English teacher with close ties to the Kremlin.

The video is reportedly set in Putin’s home city of Saint Petersburg, but clearly shows her female employees in many locations being forced to strip down to their underwear for embarrassing body searches by female inspectors.

This occurs in the morning and evening, according to various reports.

Bakalchuk’s platform Wildberries has grown to become Russia’s largest online marketplace with more than 48,000 employees amid claims it has profited from “grey” imports without evading Western sanctions.

The searches take place in the morning when staff arrive and when they leave the premises in the evening
