Women open up about their boyfriends’ dirty bathroom habits in a viral post… is YOURS guilty of one of these habits?

A new epidemic is killing romance among couples across the country, according to a viral social media post.

In short: men can’t wipe their butts properly.

An account of one man’s unhygienic ways, posted on the online forum Reddit, has attracted hundreds of comments from long-suffering female partners – many of whom have opened up about their partner’s equally gross habits.

‘I could occasionally report a skid mark on the underwear. Accidents happen, right?’, wrote user LopsidedAttitude548.

‘The pants are okay, accidents happen. But a skid mark on THE BED?!?! Several times I went to make the bed and saw a nice spot of shit on his side.’

People on Reddit and TikTok have raised alarms about the hygiene practices of the men they interact with. Some left poop trails on the bed.

Another raged: ‘Why can’t men wipe their own asses properly? The expensive underwear I bought for my fiancée has skid marks all over it.’

‘I have been sexually active for fifteen years. In that time I’ve seen four partners leave skid marks on the bed,” another woman wrote.

Women are sharing similar stories elsewhere on social media.

TikTok user Js.cuh, who worked in a urologist’s office, said that “seven times out of 10” when men got up after undressing in the office, a poop stain was left on the exam table.

This has caused many people to ask the question: what is wrong with men? Unfortunately, not much research has been done on this particular poop phenomenon.

But scientists have concluded that major differences exist between men and women in other forms of hygiene.

Men in 47 countries around the world were less concerned about hygiene than women, a 2022 study shows Institute for Future Studies in Stockholm found.

The study used information from a survey that asked people when it was important to wash their hands and how they felt about spitting.

In America, men consistently care less about handwashing than women — even before a meal or after using the bathroom, a 2018 survey of 1,005 people found market research agency IPSOS found.

Dr. Elaine Larson of the Columbia School of Nursing, who studied the hygienic differences between men’s and women’s hands, found clear differences.

“When we look at the germs that grow on the hands of men and women, men generally have a higher number of bacteria on their hands than women.” Dr. Larson told Vice.

This could be because women were historically placed in positions that required cleanliness, such as cooking and childcare, said Rosie Frasso, public health program director at Thomas Jefferson University. the New York Times.

Unsanitary practices in both arenas can lead to serious illness and death.

As a result, “these roles made women think differently about handwashing,” Ms. Frasso said.

Another theory is that men are socialized to believe that cleanliness is a feminine pursuit, Manjoo said.

People online seem to be concerned about this. In a forum called ‘AskMen’, a user added a post mentioning other men being called out for practicing hygiene.

“I’ve seen this in some places on the internet, where straight men are accused of being gay, feminine, etc., because they pay attention to their hygiene and/or keep their homes organized.” the message reads.

Whatever the cause, the women who love these men, and the doctors who treat them, are doing their best to spread the message that cleaning your butt is a must.

If you don’t clean there properly — including wiping down after the bathroom and washing in the shower — you can develop serious health problems, says Sameer Islam, a Texas gastroenterologist told Men’s Health.

‘Not wiping your bottom correctly can (also) lead to serious problems: infections, haemorrhoids, itching and discomfort. In fact, if you clean your rear end properly it will save you a lot of trouble down the road,” he said.
