Two women have been rushed to hospital after the driver of a car that crashed into a daycare center reportedly suffered a medical episode.
The Mazda plowed into a hedge outside the daycare center on Burdekin Court, in Wattle Grove in Sydney’s south-west, about 5.40pm on Thursday.
The 25-year-old female driver reportedly suffered a medical episode behind the wheel shortly before the crash. No children were injured.
The driver and her 78-year-old female passenger both suffered minor injuries and were temporarily trapped in the vehicle.
Emergency services freed the women and rushed both to Liverpool Hospital.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said officers from Daily Mail Australia were still investigating what may have caused the incident.
“The structure of the building was damaged, but there were no reports of any other injuries,” the spokeswoman said.
