Woman’s rage at rain showers: ‘All of us hate them’

Anger from nail technician over ‘sexist’ rain showers that are ‘lovely’ for men but ‘unpleasant’ for women: ‘We all hate them’

  • Ally Rooker is tired of dealing with “clumsy” rain shower heads
  • “All women hate them,” she declared

A woman then deserved applause she revealed her disdain for Rainfalls, calling them a “sexist abomination.”

Ally Rooker says she gets a stiff neck and sore back every time she has the “misfortune” of staying in a hotel with a rain shower in the bathroom.

Rainfall shower heads are usually mounted on the ceiling and spray water vertically downwards with mild pressure to mimic the feeling of rain.

But according to the professional nail stylist, this is only fun for men.

Women, she complained, have to duck and stoop to keep their hair from getting wet.

“This is for whatever council of men decided to put rain showers in every hotel room in the country,” she began in a video.

A woman embodied the hatred of millions after revealing her disdain for rain showerheads

“Women don’t like rain showers and this is not a pleasant experience.”

Ally said that while they may hardly be a hindrance to men, women have different bathing needs.

“I’m sure this is a great experience for men, but women make up more than half of the world’s population and we don’t like that.”

“Women have a lot of hair and sometimes we shower without washing it – we don’t want our hair getting wet every time.”

She claimed it was practically impossible to use a rain shower without getting your hair wet.

Ally said she doesn’t want to use the handheld shower head because it reminded her of a snake.

“I’m not a kid in the backyard with a bucket,” she said. “I’m an adult, I’m not showering with a garden hose just because it’s not hair wash day.”

But her complaint went beyond just the shower head placement.

“Even if we wet our hair in the shower, this is not a pleasant thing,” she said.

‘Women love to take hot showers, we love the scalding hot water that washes over our skin. It’s impossible to do that with this thing – it comes straight from heaven into your nose and mouth so you can’t breathe.”

“You’re standing here washing yourself like you’re trying to breathe your head out, bent over,” she added.

“And the pressure is never enough to get all the conditioner out of my hair.”

“This is so validating. I’ve always said I hate rain showers and people look at me like I’m crazy,” said one woman.

“I’m tired of my hair sticking to my face and still feeling cold from the pressure,” said another.

Another added: “I have thick hair and I hardly get it all wet because of the pressure – it’s so useless.”

“I need water pressure like a fire hose,” another woman agreed.

“Are you also just sitting out in the cold waiting for the conditioner to set?” It’s terrible,” one frustrated woman wrote.

While others thought rain showers weren’t that bad.

“They have an invention called a shower cap,” one man wrote sarcastically.

“I think I’m the only woman who likes a rain shower head,” said another.
