A man has been charged after police found a woman’s body in a western Sydney apartment after failing to find the cause of a domestic dispute earlier.
Police received an anonymous call about an alleged domestic dispute at a Liverpool apartment block at around 11.45pm on Friday.
Officers arrived at the unit’s block around 3 a.m. Saturday, but were unable to locate the apartment where the incident had occurred.

The investigation into who made the call continued throughout Saturday, police said.
At around 8pm on Saturday, police were called back to the block of the Liverpool unit, where they found the body of a 34-year-old woman.
A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with domestic violence offences, including stalking/harassment with intent to fear bodily harm etc., violating the prohibition/restriction in AVO and destroying or damaging property .
He appeared before Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday, where he was denied bail.
Local detectives will work with the Homicide Squad under Strike Force Midian to investigate the woman’s death.
NSW Police will also analyze other circumstances of the incident through a critical incident investigation, which the police say will be independently reviewed.
The man is assisting the police in that investigation.
Police are expected to address the media about the arrest later on Sunday.
