She has returned to the United States after living in London and said she misses feeling “most like herself” in Britain

In a clip shared to her TikTok account, Tory revealed whether she missed life in Britain and the differences between the two cities.

She captioned the clip: “It’s been a year since I moved and I always get this question: do I miss London? Sure I will.

‘I made great friends in London, I felt most like myself.

‘But moving doesn’t mean hating the place you are while missing the place you came from.

‘I am currently trying to find that balance.’

At the beginning of the clip, she explained that you should keep in mind that she has moved from one city to another.

“So the answer to the previous question, do I miss living in Britain over the US, is absolute,” she said.

Tory noted that this was because many things “are harder in the US.”

‘An example is healthcare. It’s just so much harder to get good health care here and not pay much out of pocket for it.

“Another is cultural. People talk a lot more about their work and take a lot less vacation,” she said of the US.

Tory noted that she “misses” the people she worked with in London and that they “supported” her when she took time off.

She noted that she liked how “vibrant” London was, adding that San Francisco is a lot smaller.

However, she said she has made California her home and found parts of it to love.

Tory commented that she “misses” the healthcare system in Britain and the people she worked with and how “supportive” they were when she took time off

In another video, Tory opened up about the truth about her life in San Francisco, revisiting the increasingly grim image many people have of the city – especially in the wake of rising crime rates.

She emphasized that not every part of the city is overrun with homelessness and crime, noting that many people who live in the city live in neighborhoods that are much safer and more picturesque.

“When you go there, it’s such a different view,” she said. “San Francisco is one of the most visually stunning cities I’ve ever lived in in my life, and I’ve lived in London and I’ve lived in New York City.”

She then highlighted the city’s “unparalleled” access to nature, as well as its beautiful weather.

As for differences in work, Tory said there are several stark contrasts between business life in Britain and the US, explaining that differences exist in every aspect of her work, from vacation time to office culture.

Despite the fact that she still works at the same company where she worked in Britain, she said things are very different now that she is back in the US.

“So the first thing I noticed was obvious, but it’s true… vacation,” she said in another video. ‘On the whole, people get a lot less holiday here than in Britain and Europe.

‘What this means is that people just don’t have as much free time to go out with friends, go away for a weekend or spend time with their family or partner.’

Tory further noted that the concept of ‘work-life balance’ is also viewed very differently between countries, especially when it comes to their vacation time.

“For example, when I was working in Europe, someone went on vacation and was completely unavailable,” she explained.

“Whereas here in the US it’s very common for people to leave their personal cell phone numbers in case you need them, or to take their laptops with them on vacation.”
