A woman has left the internet stunned after revealing she has to pay $400 a month for her GPS ankle monitor.

Mallory Bell, from Houston, Texas, took to TikTok last week to talk about the enormous amount of money she had to spend to avoid going to jail.

She explained that she opted to use an electronic tagging device instead of serving jail time, but in the past eight months she had it, she has had to spend a whopping $3,200.

“Anklets cost $400 a month. I’ve had mine on for eight months, that’s $3,200,” she shared in the video, which has now been viewed more than 2.6 million times.
