A woman has been pushed to the ground and sexually assaulted next to a highway in Western Australia.
The victim, in her 40s, was walking along the Bussell Highway in West Busselton about 2am on Friday when a man approached her from behind and pushed her to the ground.
He then sexually assaulted her before fleeing.

The attacker was last seen traveling west along the Bussell Highway on foot.
He is described as about 169cm tall and of medium build. He was wearing a dark hoodie at the time.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage from the Bussell Highway between Fairway Drive and Bower Road in West Busselton in the early hours of Friday is asked to contact police.
