An expert on Chinese culture has revealed what the shape and length of your palm lines tell you about your personality, health, and even let you know if you’re on the right track.
Min Yilin regularly posts videos on her TikTok channel to educate her followers about Chinese culture, including using chopsticks and explaining beauty standards in China.
In a series of videos Min shared with her 150,000+ followers, she shared exactly how viewers could learn more about themselves just by examining their palms.

In her first video, Min explained what the line on your palm she called your “heart line” reveals about your romantic life.
The heart line, or love line, “starts under the little finger and runs down the palm to the middle or index finger.”
If your love line is short, Min described that you are most likely a “powerful and stubborn person.”
She added that people with short heart lines are often “spontaneous” but have “rocky” love lives because they are often “isolated by others.”
She then went on to explain the ups and downs of your love life if you have a long heartline.
She added that “very long” palm lines reach “opposite sides of the palm,” meaning you’re extremely independent.
This means you’d rather be alone than hang out with others, which is why Min noted that people with long lovelines will experience extreme “hardship.”
Min added that a long heart line indicates that you are an extremely “loyal” and committed partner who often feels emotions at a heightened level that leaves you “seriously hurt” by conflict in your relationships.”

“To find it, just look between your thumb and index finger and follow the line to the side of your palm,” Min explained.
She added that the headline is above the “centerline.”
“The headline represents your wisdom, beliefs and thinking ability,” she revealed.
If you have a long head, it means you are thoughtful, logical, and responsive.
Someone with a short headline will have trouble making decisions and often rush.
