Woman Shamed By Thousands For Her ‘Disgusting’ Airfryer Cleaning Hack: ‘I Don’t Know How You Can Live Like This’

  • One woman revealed that she only cleans her air fryer every few uses
  • She uses bicarbonate of soda, washing up liquid, vinegar spray and boiling water

A woman has come under fire after revealing a ‘disgusting’ hack for cleaning an air fryer.

Rhianne, 26, uses her air fryer several times a week, but doesn’t clean it every time.

She uses baking soda, Fairy dish soap, spray vinegar and boiling water to achieve sparkling results.

Thousands couldn’t believe she didn’t at least rinse out the drawers of the unit after using it.

“I clean mine after every use – when did we start living like this?” asked a shocked man.

She admitted she hadn’t cleaned the airfryer in a while so it might have been “disgusting”.

Rhianne pulled out the produce drawers, revealing weeks worth of dirty and caked-on food.

The gourmet first sprinkles bi-card soda on the trays and dips them in a generous amount of dish soap.

She then sprays white vinegar all over the drawer before pouring enough boiling water to partially fill the space.

Rhianne lets her cleaning solution soak in for a few minutes before emptying the contents of the airfryer into the sink.

“Oh my God,” she marveled at the transformation.

Despite her method producing sparkling results, Rhianne was still embarrassed for letting her air fryer go so bad in the beginning.

“Am I the only one who cleans it every time I use it?” a woman asked.

“It takes two seconds to wash—why would you want new food on top of old?” Ew,’ another wrote.

A third commented, “If you cleaned it after every use, there wouldn’t be any need to clean it this way!”

While others were just thankful for Rhianne’s easy no-scrub hack.

‘Mine usually go in the dishwasher after every use – but this works great too! Thank you!’ said a mother.

‘Literally soap and water and then turn on the airfryer for eight minutes. Just shake it, throw away the water and it’s done,’ said another.
