Woman reveals the very creepy message she got from a man who wanted to be her ‘live in maid’

A young woman has revealed the ‘creepiest’ message she received from a potential flatmate after posting her spare room online.

The woman, who posted anonymously on Reddit, shared the text asking if she was looking for a submissive man to move in with.

In the text, the man explained that he would like to be the woman’s ‘maid boy’, cleaning the house, cooking all the meals and even giving her foot massages when she comes home from work.

“I pay the rent and share the bills, I just like to be submissive,” he said.

The woman admitted she was so put off by the text that she didn’t reply, but dozens of women claimed they would accept the offer in a heartbeat – on one condition.

“Not all of us agree that we would calmly accept this son of a bitch. As long as it doesn’t lead to us having sex, we’re Gucci,” one woman laughed.

“Yes, I would 100% take it home in a heartbeat as long as there wasn’t a sexual element to it,” said another.

“Yes, just put a good lock on your bedroom door and lock him in his room too if you want. This is the dream,” a third added.

Even the OP could see the benefits, despite choosing to ignore the message.

“If people in the real world weren’t weird, I think I would have found the best roommate ever,” she said.

Others, who have heard of the “girly-boy” subculture, argued that “service” was probably enough for the man.

“He’s just a submarine. This is real. There are only girly boys who do this in exchange for absolutely nothing,” one woman said.

Others jokingly asked the OP to provide his information.

“Can I have it if you don’t want it,” one woman laughed.

“Swap the foot massage for back massage and you’ve got a deal,” said another.

Others shared similar stories in the thread.

“The same thing happened to a friend of mine when she was looking for roommates while studying abroad in Germany,” one woman said.

“I once met a guy on Tinder who wanted to come to my door on his hands and knees, with money in his mouth, and beg me to do chores,” said another.

The OP said she might think about it again when she had time again.

“Given the roommate I went with, I definitely misread them and made a bad choice. “I wish I had taken this offer,” she said.

Her listing ran in May 2022. She found a woman who moved in with her, instead adding, “She was a slob and I ended up being her maid.”
