But recently she was inundated with support after she revealed the bizarre precautions she takes during her evening walks.
In the clip, which was shared earlier this month, Julie started preparing her dog, French bulldog Gus, for a walk.
She laces up her sneakers and then grabs a $399 SunHome Saunas LED Radiant Mask.
The high-tech accessory covers her entire face with a white cloak before she steps outside to activate it during the nighttime adventure.
Julie’s entire face lights up with an ominous red glow, giving her a whole new, sinister form.
The text she put over it read: ‘If you go for a walk in the dark and you get a little nervous, buy a red light mask.
‘No one will bother you and you will get better skin.’
To complete the lighthearted clip, she added a backing track of Good to Go by Daphne Willis and LÒNIS.
