Horrific facial injuries woman suffered after being allegedly glassed at a Perth pub

A young woman’s face is covered in blood after she was shot with glass by another woman in a pub in Perth’s north.

Taiya Sampson reportedly underwent surgery Saturday to repair a deep cut on her cheek and had stitches placed in her forehead after she was pelted with glass at The Landing in Alkimos on Friday night.

According to police, a verbal argument broke out between Ms Sampson and another woman, both 20 years old, after which it escalated into a physical fight.

The woman allegedly hit Mrs Sampson with a wine glass, causing a 2-inch cut on her left cheek.

Police confirmed that the women know each other.
