A couple have given their new son a unique nickname after his birth didn’t go exactly to plan.
Analysia Beck, 25, from Wisconsin, ended up having her baby in a snowy McDonald’s parking lot after realizing she wouldn’t make it to the hospital — and now her son has the affectionate nickname McFlurry.
She started having contractions around 11 p.m. on Jan. 11, but shrugged it off like Braxton Hicks — until the pain got worse around 3:30 a.m., prompting her to wake her husband, Daniel Beck.
Analysia told USA today she was ‘bent on the floor screaming’ and knew she had to get to the hospital as soon as possible.
As the couple prepared to take action, another spanner was thrown into their works when they realized there was also a snowstorm happening outside.

After a babysitter arrived to watch her other two children, they set out hoping they would make it on time.
As she sat in the car, the pressure and urge to push became stronger and she was forced to ask Daniel to stop – it felt like she was sitting on the baby’s head.
Panicking, they drove into the parking lot of their local McDonald’s, which was closed, and called 911.
Analysia said: ‘The baby came so quickly and my body couldn’t wait any longer to push.’
She got into the back of their SUV and after three pushes the baby was born in the early hours of January 12 – with paramedics arriving on the scene just in time to ‘catch’ him.
The new mother was concerned about her newborn baby’s blue appearance, but when they finally reached the hospital, it was confirmed that he had passed all his tests.
The couple named their son Micah, but they called him by his nickname “McFlurry.”

Analysia gushed: ‘Our little McFlurry was the sweetest treat.’

“While we were on the way to the hospital, he decided he wanted to stop at McDonald’s. He didn’t want to be born in the hospital!
“Micah was born in our trunk in the McDonald’s parking lot during a snowstorm and rightfully earned the nickname ‘McFlurry.’
She joked, “Yes, we also realize the irony of the fact that his name can be shortened to ‘MICey D’s.’
The new mother wrote: ‘It was terrifying, traumatizing and painful to give birth naturally, without drugs/doctors and to see him emerge completely blue because it happened so quickly and literally in the snow.
“But he is doing very well now and all we can do is praise and thank God for his protection.”
