Woman gets alarming text from stranger who spotted her number on luggage tag at airport

A woman revealed the chilling text message a stranger sent her after taking her mobile phone number from her luggage tag.

The traveler named Kirsten posted about her experience waiting at the airport during a layover on TikTok.

“I’m at the airport and the scariest thing just happened to me. I’m sitting there on my layover and I get this text message,” Kirsten said.

She put the message on the screen and read it to her viewers, slamming the stranger’s disturbing message.

“Hello Kristen, that’s not even my name,” she said. “My name is Nate. I saw you and thought you were so beautiful, so I had to find a way to talk to you.

Kirsten said she received “the creepiest text” from a stranger who took her number from her luggage tag

“I saw your number on your luggage tag and decided to text you. I promise this isn’t as weird as it seems! Give a man a chance?’

Kirsten then criticized the man for not being polite in approaching her first, but instead sent her a creepy message that left her fearing for her safety.

‘Give a man a chance? First of all, he spelled my name wrong. Second, if he wanted to talk to me so badly, why didn’t he come over and talk to me like a normal person?’ she said.

‘This just feels like an invasion of privacy. I have no idea who this man is. I didn’t notice a man looking at me or anything.

“I’m extra weird because I have my address on my luggage tag so he could possibly know where I live now.”

She ended the video warning others to be careful about the information they put on luggage tags.

‘PSA for everyone: turn your luggage tag inside out so your personal information is not visible. And PSA to all the creepers: do better,” Kirsten said.

Commenters agreed the message was weird and said Kirsten was justified in creeping out.

‘This is something I would never think of!!! That’s so scary,” one person said.

‘My jaw literally dropped open. I’m shocked,” said another. “I’m so sorry, this is so violating,” a third person said.

“Ladies, these men are desperate. Be careful out there,” a fourth person said.

Others criticized the man for getting close enough to turn off her cell phone but not introducing himself alone.

“If he’s close enough to see the tag, just say hi!” Sheesh,” someone said.

‘Yes, totally scary. He could have shot right then and there and got rejected, but he wanted to be a creeper,” said another.
