Horror discovery as a woman in her 30s is found dead in suspicious circumstances inside a suburban Sydney home
A homicide investigation has been launched following the grim discovery of a woman found dead inside a house in western Sydney.
Emergency services were called to the house in Borrowdale Way, Cranebrook at around 2:30pm on Sunday following reports that the body of a woman believed to be in her 30s was found.
Witnesses reported seeing someone flee the scene, Seven News reported.
Police set up a crime scene and cordoned off the single-story brick house surrounded by emergency vehicles.

Police speak to shocked residents
Detectives are treating the woman’s death as suspicious and were seen speaking to surprised neighbors gathered on the street.
Forensic officers will spend the night at the house looking for evidence.
Three parked cars were parked in the cordoned-off home’s driveway, including a corporate juice truck, a pickup truck and a small hatchback.
No arrests have yet been made.
“There is no further information at this stage,” a police statement said.
