Moment Woman Realizes She Showed Up To The Wrong Wedding… After Flying 3,000 Miles From The United States To Scotland To See Her Friend Get Married

She had flown 3,000 miles across the Atlantic to celebrate her boyfriend’s wedding.
And after the long haul flight to Scotland and a much shorter taxi ride through Glasgow, Arti Mala made it to the ceremony – only to realize it was the wrong one.
The moment Mrs. Mala, from Washington DC, noticed that the couple getting married was not the couple she expected was captured on camera.
She had traveled from her home to Glasgow on Saturday to attend her friend Gaurav’s wedding.
However, upon arriving at Pollokshaw’s Burgh Hall, she soon discovered her mistake when two complete strangers named Caitlin and Stephen exchanged vows.

Meanwhile, her friend was getting married at nearby Pollokshields Burgh Hall, about a mile away in the town’s Maxwell Park.
Video footage shows Ms. Mala looking mortified as she stares at the camera.
The text on the screen reads, “You traveled over 3,000 miles and accidentally showed up at the wrong wedding.”

Ms Mala later said, “Finally caught an Uber to the right wedding, but missed the speeches.”

She later realized that she had set the destination without realizing that there were two locations with similar names

Ms Mala later discovered the error occurred when she ordered an Uber to take her from her Airbnb in the city to the wedding.
She had determined the destination without realizing that there were two locations with similar names.
Luckily, the real one was only six minutes away — which meant that after she had a few chuckles with the couple whose wedding she accidentally messed up, she was able to order another Uber that delivered her the proper ceremony.
Ms Mala took to social media on Monday to share the footage, writing: ‘Congratulations, Caitlin and Stephen. Thank you for playing such a good sport and inviting me for a drink.”
The video has garnered more than 34,200 likes and dozens of comments from people who have been let down by her misstep.
