Woman falls to her death on McKenzie’s Saddle Walking Track in Buangla

A woman has died after falling 50 meters from a popular lookout on the NSW south coast.
Emergency services were called to a lookout along the McKenzie’s Saddle Walking Track in Buangla shortly before midday on Monday.
The police rescue and toll helicopter were dispatched before a woman’s body was found beneath the remote lookout a short time later.

A Police Rescue operation is now underway to retrieve the woman’s body, with officers also required to prepare a report for the coroner.
The McKenzie viewing and walking trail is located inland from Nowra and is considered a lesser known route. It offers views of the Yalwal State Forest.
