Woman dresses her cat up as a baby so she could smuggle drugs in clothing

The purring disguise: Narco cat is dressed as a baby by a woman posing as a young mother in failed drug smuggling scam

  • After arousing suspicion, the ‘mother’ and ‘baby’ were intercepted by the police
  • According to reports, the packets contain 170 grams of powdered methylephedrine

A Russian woman has been arrested after dressing her cat to look like a baby to hide her clothes with drugs.

After reportedly arousing suspicion, the mother, with what appeared to be her two children, was taken for questioning by police in the Russian city of Nizhny Tagil.

The woman was walking her young daughter in the resort area with what appeared to be a baby snuggled in a pram.

After being intercepted by police, officials realized the young family wasn’t quite what it seemed, instead of a baby, they discovered something with feline features.

Despite the admittedly ingenious attempt to smuggle the drugs, the inventive plan ultimately failed and small packets of narcotics were extracted from the cat’s thick clothing one by one.

The cat, also wearing a hat and a baby suit, popped his head out of the jack to see what the fuss was all about

In the incredibly bizarre footage, police unzipped the rather confused cat from his thick baby snow suit and also discovered small packages of what appeared to be narcotics.

The cat, also wearing a hat and a baby suit, stuck his head out of the jacket to see what the matter was before being removed from the thick jacket by one of the officials.

The police continued to remove small packages from the package while the stunned and innocent cat lay sprawled on the table.

In a later segment, layers of baby clothes were peeled off the animal one by one.

It was eventually revealed that the cat was even wearing a diaper and little baby boots.

The cat’s “mother” was later detained by officials, handcuffed and sullenly confined to a small cell.

It’s not known if police were tipped off about the woman and her feline baby, or if they could tell something was wrong.
