Woman documents DISASTROUS blowout from a boutique hair salon – before slamming the results as ‘pretty disturbing’

A woman has gone viral after she suffered a disastrous blow in a boutique she had never visited before, leaving her with a truly wild haircut.

Chicago-based comedian Maggie Hughes DePalo became a social media sensation after showing off the results of her appointment and sharing the experience on TikTok in a chilling video.

“Hard to ask for the manager when you’re playing ‘Ask for the Manager,'” she joked in the TikTok subtitles.

Maggie started the video by saying that she was “involved in a very unfortunate situation” after going to a boutique to have her hair blown dry.

“It’s quite disturbing, so trigger an alert,” Maggie joked, before revealing a photo of her windblown ottoman, which reached rare heights and appeared to almost touch the ceiling of her car in the stunning selfie.

She said after she walked in, washed her hair and was “thrown” into a chair, “several people were furiously using round brushes” to tame her mane.

‘At one point my head was all the way down, and when I looked up and came to, someone else poured some white powder on my hair. The woman who originally did it now opens the door, and they’re selling purses and there was a lot going on,” Maggie explained.

“It wasn’t exactly what I expected, but I was too scared to ask for the manager because I’m white and I have blonde hair, and I don’t want to end up on the nine o’clock news,” Maggie joked.

“This is a PSA for all women: if you’re not happy with something, say something,” the comedian continued.
