A woman has left people shocked after revealing she has a Grinch fetish that is ‘destroying’ her relationship – because her boyfriend refuses to don a fluffy green costume and pretend to be the cartoon character during sex.
The unnamed woman took to Reddit to describe her obsession with the hairy villain who caused her boyfriend to have her “kidnapped” on Christmas Eve and have sex with her “in front of the Christmas tree.”
She explained that she didn’t just ask her partner to give her the Dr. Seuss book to get her “in the mood,” but also to put on the “greenest, silkiest Grinch costume” to wear while they were intimate.
After her boyfriend rejected her pleas, she wondered if she should find “a more adventurous man” to keep up with her “kinks” in a thread titled “Not suitable for work.’

The unnamed woman took to Reddit to describe her obsession with the hairy villain that caused her boyfriend to ask her to “kidnap” her and have sex with her on Christmas Eve.
At the beginning of the post she said, “I have a Grinch fetish. My boyfriend knows about this and largely accepts it. He’s not crazy about it and doesn’t really get it, but at least he’s trying, that’s all I’m asking.”
She noted that he will often read the book to her to “set the mood” or call her “mean.”
And the pair have even started playing ‘one of three versions of the movie’ every time they have sex.
However, the woman revealed that she is tired of hearing her boyfriend read the book, so she now wants to take the next step.
She said, “The thing is, I don’t want to hear about the Grinch, listen to the Grinch, or watch the Grinch. I want to be fucked by the Grinch.”
The anonymous woman paused to clarify that she wasn’t alone in her thoughts, claiming, “This is common among women.”
She added: ‘The fact that he is good with dogs and has experienced trauma at a young age makes me want that long, fluffy d*** even more.’
And when her boyfriend asked her what she wanted for Christmas, she let him know that she wanted him to feed off her Grinch obsession even further.

The woman said: ‘My boyfriend asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told him straight out.
“I told him to put on the greenest, silkiest Grinch costume he could find, kidnap me from my bed on Christmas Eve, and then destroy me in front of the Christmas tree.”
But her boyfriend ultimately drew the line and refused “outright” because it was “too weird.”
She added: ‘I literally begged this man to let this p**** save Christmas and he said, ‘No, I’m fine.’
The conversation then turned into an argument and her boyfriend admitted that he only agreed to her “first Grinch kinks” to please her.
She added, “(He) was still uncomfortable about the fact that I had moaned ‘Grinch’ during sex a few weeks ago, but only because his song was playing in the background.”
And now her boyfriend gives her an ultimatum, noting that if she doesn’t “drop the Grinch fetish,” he’ll break up with her.
People on the internet flooded the comments section and slammed the Grinch-obsessed woman
At the end of the post she said: ‘I don’t want to lose him over this, but it’s very difficult for me to look past my sexual urges, especially during the Christmas season.
“Is there any way we can even compromise on this, or do I just need a more adventurous man?”
Although the woman shared the message three years ago, it has since resurfaced.
Ladbible shared the woman’s story on his Instagram account, where people online flooded the comments section and criticized the Grinch-obsessed woman.
One person said: ‘On behalf of women, this is not ‘normal’.’
Someone else commented: ‘I’m not trying to be a Karen but that’s actually worrying.’
“This woman needs Jesus or a doctor or maybe just a good friend to listen,” another user wrote.
“Some things we keep to ourselves,” another added.
Someone else commented: ‘How can people be so eager to provide this kind of information these days?’
