Driver and passenger killed in horrific crash in South Hurstville, Sydney
A woman and a man have died after a single car crash in Sydney’s south-west.
A 75-year-old woman died at the scene after an SUV she was a passenger in left King Georges Road in South Hurstville and crashed into a wall.
The 86-year-old male driver was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition, where he later died.
A crime scene has been established and officers from St George Police Area Command have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
