A woman cut off her ex-boyfriend’s penis with a knife after he tried to rape her in Italy, according to reports.
The incident took place on Saturday, August 12 in Marghera, Venice, after an argument between the couple over custody of their daughter.
The couple – both foreign nationals living in Italy – have reportedly been separated for some time, according to the Republic.
They allegedly met at the woman’s home to agree on their daughter’s “management.”
The ensuing argument came after he allegedly tried to “make peace” by offering to have sex with her.

After she allegedly refused, he allegedly pushed her half-naked against a piece of furniture.
The woman responded by brandishing a knife and cutting off his penis with the knife.
Both the police and the ambulance service arrived at the scene and the two were taken to hospital.
The man is said to have successfully replaced his penis after reconstruction surgery, which was performed by urologist surgeons.
