Woman claims she took apart her negative pregnancy test only to find out it was actually positive
A woman has claimed she took apart a negative pregnancy test and discovered it was actually positive.
Taisen Terra, from Boynton Beach, Florida, recently explained on TikTok that she and her partner, Blake Cassandra, are in the process of trying to get pregnant.
The Florida resident, who is already a mother to a one-year-old daughter, said she decided to take a Clearblue digital pregnancy test seven days after ovulation.
The results screen said “not pregnant,” but Taisen wanted to be sure, so she decided to open it and take out the test strip — and what she saw surprised her.
She saw an extremely faint second line on the strip, which she believed indicated that she was indeed pregnant.

“I took this apart like I’ve seen people do because I’m crazy too,” she said in the videowhich showed the test in pieces next to a pair of scissors.
‘There are at least two lines in it. Please tell me you see that second faint line. It’s there. Maybe it only detects it when the blue line is really dark?’
In a follow-up video posted three days later, Taisen revealed that two new digital tests confirmed she was expecting.

But Taisen wanted to make sure, so she decided to open it and take out the test strip – and she saw a faint second line on the strip, which she thought meant she was pregnant.

But unfortunately, Taisen posted another TikTok later in the week and revealed that she had lost the baby.
She explained that she had been bleeding ‘a lot’ and felt like something was ‘wrong’, so she went to the doctor for an ultrasound, and was told that ‘there was nothing left up there’.
She said she had something known as a “chemical pregnancy,” which is “a pregnancy loss that occurs before the fifth week,” per My Cleveland clinic.
“It’s been a tough week,” she said. ‘I thought I was pregnant for a week, I had all this excitement for a week.
“The only good thing I can say about this is that it happened very early. I was pregnant, but when the egg and sperm went to fertilize in the uterus, one was not strong enough.’
