Woman who claims evil spirits bite and grab her while she’s in bed undergoes an exorcism to rid her home of the dark presence

A British woman has revealed she underwent an exorcism, claiming she did it to rid her home of evil spirits who bit her and grabbed her wrists as she lay in bed.

Couples Emma and Ross could never have predicted the mental suffering their dream new-build home would have in store for them, four years after they moved into their four-bedroom home in the small village of Kempsey in Worcestershire.

But their dream has turned into a nightmare as the couple claims their home has become inhabited by creeping evil spirits who haunt and torment Emma every day.

In an episode of Help! My House is Haunted on discovery+, a troubled and concerned Emma reaches her wits’ end and turns to the team of Barri, Ian and Jayne in an attempt to overcome her experiences with the evil spirits ruining her life.

In harrowing footage, the team are forced to perform an exorcism on Emma, which Barri says was “the most intense night we’ve ever experienced.”

Emma, from Worcestershire, who claimed evil spirits bite her and grab her wrists when she tries to sleep, had an exorcism to release the entity

Emma explained: ‘I feel like I have no spiritual boundary, these things just keep holding me down. I woke up and people were walking through my wall. I don’t sleep. Every time I try to go to sleep, they grab my wrist and I can feel their fingers.

‘I feel them touching me. I can smell them. Terrible things have been said to me. I had someone bite me, which was really horrible. I could feel the lips, I could feel his tongue and the wetness of his mouth. And I can’t do anything, I’m stuck.’

When the team of paranormal investigators arrived at the property, paranormal medium Ian immediately detected a dark aura present on the land.

Ian said, “Guys, do you know if anything horrible has happened on the land we’re going to? Because I feel like it has a dark history.

“Without saying too much, this area has seen more than its fair share of bloodshed and death,” paranormal investigator Jayne replied.

While Barri and Jayne went to investigate the matter, Ian entered the property to conduct a solo reconnaissance.

‘Wow, there’s a very strange energy here, my head is pounding. This is really weird.

‘It’s a new house, but it almost looks like the ground is stained with blood or something. Now I don’t know if that has an impact on this house or if it puts a burden on it.’

In harrowing footage, the team are forced to perform an exorcism on Emma, which Barri says was “the most intense night we’ve ever experienced.”

She became even more upset and shouted at the ghost: ‘You have no power over me, this is my damn house. Go away!’

A distressed and concerned Emma became desperate and turned to the team of Barri, Ian and Jayne in an attempt to overcome her experiences with the evil spirits ruining her life.

On the way to the garden, Ian performed a form of psychometry, scanning the ground for vibrations that allow him to read the footprint of what ghosts have left behind.

He said: ‘I can hear all this heavy metal crashing and banging and screaming and shouting. It’s almost like there’s been a battle or something like that in this area, which will fuel all the negative stuff because it’s dark.”

After Ian noticed the most spiritual activity in Emma’s bedroom, he invited Emma to join him in a visualization experiment.

“Ian is going to lower Emma’s consciousness to find out more about these entities that continue to harass her,” Barri explained.

In this state, Emma immediately saw the ghost figure she had initially warned the team about, whom she calls “shadow man.”

Emma told the team: ‘He laughs at me, he laughs and says, ‘You’re not getting rid of me.’ He’s showing me his teeth.’

She became even more upset and shouted at the ghost: ‘You have no power over me, this is my damn house. Go away!’

While observing the stress caused by the “shadow man,” Ian held a crucifix over a blindfolded Emma to test whether “this dark entity is repelled by religion.”

Despite being blindfolded, Emma immediately put her arm in front of her. ‘Emma can’t see it yet, she has her hand up and rejecting the crucifix.

Couples Emma and Ross could never have predicted the mental suffering their dream new build would have in store for them, four years after moving into their four-bed home in the small village of Kempsey in Worcestershire.

After Ian noticed the most spiritual activity in Emma’s bedroom, he invited Emma to join him in a visualization experiment.

In what Barri described as ‘the most intense evening we have ever experienced’, the team met Emma and Ross the next morning to review their evidence and listen back to the correspondence they had had with the ghosts.

That means this entity is trying to resist me,” Ian explained before concluding. ‘It’s clear that Emma is gifted, but she is also vulnerable. I must keep this evil entity at bay with prayer.”

As Emma became visibly more distressed, Ian brought her out of her subconscious state, with her husband Ross immediately on hand to comfort her.

After seeing the pain and problems the visualization experiment caused Emma, the team decides that the best plan of action is to conduct their research overnight themselves.

They choose to deepen their understanding by communicating directly with the spirits, to find out who they are and what specifically drew them to Emma.

However, despite their tireless efforts throughout the night, the team came to the conclusion that the evil spirit’s attachment to Emma is so great that they will not be able to banish the entity without Emma present and Ian will have to perform an exorcism.

“Exorcism is always a last resort, but in this case it’s the only way to release the spirit and move it forward,” Ian reluctantly explained.

Jayne agreed: ‘This dark entity has clearly formed an attachment to Emma, and it sounds like it won’t give her up easily, adding that ‘the problem of course is that there are now two things that will fuel that attachment . Emma’s fear and Ross’ anger. If she’s had it for a few years, it’s getting stronger and stronger.’

In what is a chilling and terrifying watch, Emma fights the entity during the exorcism, screaming ‘LEAVE ME ALONE! THIS IS MY BODY!’

As Ian attempted to expel the entity, he recited passages from the Bible and doused Emma with holy water to cleanse her.

In what was clearly a traumatizing but necessary experience, an increasingly petrified Emma continually shouted: ‘Someone is screaming in my head Ian’, ‘my body is shaking’, ‘please help me! I didn’t ask for this!’

The exorcism process reached the stage where Ian explained that Emma needs the sustaining power of a loved one in the spirit world, so she called upon her grandfather to help her fight the evil that lives within her.

With the help of her grandfather and after reciting the Lord’s Prayer, Ian was finally able to ward off the evil entity and complete the exorcism.

“It really was a dark entity, it was actually much deeper than I thought,” Ian concluded as he presented Emma with a St. Benedict Medal, which he said will “protect her from the return of this evil entity.”

In what Barri described as ‘the most intense evening we have ever experienced’, the team met Emma and Ross the next morning to review their evidence and listen back to the correspondence they had had with the ghosts.
