A 23-year-old Texas woman was arrested after allegedly setting fire to her friend’s house during a jealous rage after discovering another woman answered their Facetime call – the mystery woman turned out to be the friend’s relative. to be.

“I hope your things are okay,” she said, according to the affidavit, before driving off in her gray Kia Optima with the items she stole from the house.

The Bexar County Fire Department office responded to an arson call on Shepherd Road around 1:45 a.m. The call came from the owner of the house.

Video footage shows Soto lighting the couch in the living room of the house fire that spread. A laundry basket filled with clothes is knocked over. The fire caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.

The Fire Marshall’s Office worked with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office on the arson investigation.

It is not clear if Soto has been released, but she has an awaiting trial hearing in December, a report said.
