My breasts are so droopy I’ve never even let my boyfriend of six years see me without a bra on – I’m desperate for a reduction
A woman dubbed ‘Holly Willough-booby’ by friends is raising money for a reduction because her breasts ‘hang down to her navel’ – something her boyfriend of six years has never seen.
Holly Norman, from Swindon, Wiltshire, admitted she is ‘too scared’ to discover the true size of her breasts, leaving her with painful backaches, deep stretch marks in her shoulders and painful rashes when she squeezes bras.
The 23-year-old said she ‘can’t handle’ finding out what cup size she is as she finds it ‘disgusting’ and forces herself to wear a 36H bra instead as she finds her chest ‘too heavy’ to go without underwear.
The trip coordinator said her sweetheart of six years has never seen her without a bra – and heartbreakingly claimed she doesn’t understand why he is with her when she looks ‘like that’.
Determined to live a normal life and shake off her crippling self-consciousness, Holly raises money for the down payment for surgery to fix her ‘bumping in’ breasts.

On her GoFundMe page, Holly admitted she was a 36H when last measured but was ‘too scared’ to check her current bra size.
“I’ve been with my partner for six years and to this day I still don’t want him to see me without a bra, even when we’re having sex,” Holly explained.
‘They hang very loose, they touch my belly button. I wear a bra all the time, I feel really uncomfortable without wearing one because they are so low.
“Around my boyfriend I think, ‘How can you even want to be with me when I look like this?’ It’s very sad.
‘I don’t actually know what my bra size is, I’m just guessing at the moment.
‘The bra I’m wearing now doesn’t fit properly, but I don’t want to measure because I don’t want to face what cup size I am because I just think it’s disgusting.
‘I’m currently wearing a 36H. It doesn’t fit, my breasts fall out of the cups.
‘Some people call me ‘Holly with the big tits’ or ‘Holly Willough-booby’, after Holly Willoughby.

“I don’t think there’s any malice in it, but when someone specifically points out something you don’t like about yourself, it’s very difficult.”
Holly has had to deal with a larger than average chest since primary school and suffered from jealous comments from girls in secondary school.
Not only did she have to deal with the emotional turmoil of the unwanted attention, but she also had to deal with physical pain, including excruciating back and neck pain and skin rashes.
“I’ve had boobs since I was nine in primary school,” the 23-year-old said.
‘When we would get changed for gym I would think, “none of them are wearing bras, they are flat chested. Why am I not flat chested?”.
‘In high school my breasts were about a DD/E cup, maybe even an F or a G cup.
‘They’ve always been there. I’m not the thinnest person and I fully admit that, but even when I was at my thinnest I still had these on my chest. You can not ignore it.
‘When we would do PE in high school, I would have to wear two bras to keep them under control.
‘I had pain in my upper back, pain in my lower back, dents in my shoulders where my bra straps are because they are so heavy.
‘Boys at school pointed it out and there were comments. Getting all that unwanted attention made me feel insecure.

Although Holly is ‘too scared’ to have her breasts properly measured, her current cup size is larger than her hand
‘I felt like an outsider. It was a tough time going through school and always having a bigger chest.
‘I think there was a hint of jealousy from the girls. I think every flat-chested girl wants boobs, but honestly, they don’t want them.
‘My school shirts always had an opening on the chest, I placed the tie to hide it.
‘I struggled to find bras that fit properly. I was at the point where I was taking bras from my mom’s drawer and borrowing them.”
In a desperate bid to cover her chest and avoid unwanted looks, Holly resorts to wearing oversized tops in a size 20/22, admitting this is unflattering on her 6ft frame.
Holly, who is a size 16, explains: ‘I normally wear loose clothes at the top, but that doesn’t do my figure any favours. I find shopping for clothes a nightmare.
‘Last year I went on holiday and was looking for swimwear that would specifically cover my breasts.
‘I had one with curtains in the front. It looks more like a cardigan in the front, because it completely covers my chest area, which I feel comfortable in.
‘(Otherwise) I feel like people will look at me, see my breasts and think, ‘Oh, she’s just getting her breasts out for attention.’
“I just feel very self-conscious, so I try to hide it all because I don’t want people to think that way about me.”

Desperate, Holly decided to investigate the surgery in an attempt to live a ‘normal’ life.
Holly said: ‘I’ve been thinking about having a breast reduction since I was about 15 or 16 years old, so it’s been a long time, it’s not an impulse.
‘I suffer from a very painful back, painful shoulders, a painful neck and the bra straps leave dents in the back of my shoulders.
‘I also get a heat rash on the lower chest in the crease.
‘They stick out so much, they get in the way of things, they bump into things.
‘I just really want to turn my life around and be able to do normal everyday activities: go on holiday and wear a swimsuit or bikini that I don’t feel like I have to cover up.
‘I want to live normally and not have my breasts be the bane of it.’
Holly has had an initial consultation with a private surgeon for the £9,500 operation and wants to raise the £1,500 deposit via GoFundMe.
The reduction involves removing breast tissue and also her nipples, which will be grafted back later.
‘I have found a private surgeon and I know which path to take.
‘It sounds very scary what they want to do. They would have to remove the nipple completely, cut away the bottom of the breast and apply a nipple graft.
‘I would never have any feeling in my nipple again or be able to breastfeed, but that is something I am willing to sacrifice.
‘We have not discussed a definitive cup size. I still want to have something that fits my frame, as small as a C or D, if that’s feasible.”
