Haunting footage has emerged from a Ring camera that may have captured a man’s final hours before he was found washed up in a Bronx river.
The unknown man was captured on camera on February 29, 2024 at approximately 4:30 p.m. while attempting to enter a locked apartment building.
Just 18 hours later, around 11 a.m. on March 1, a man’s body was pulled from the nearby Bronx River near Starlight Park. He was wearing the same flashy clothing seen in the footage: a white Paramount T-shirt and a red Nike jacket.
Although the man’s body was discovered five months ago, a New York woman only came forward with the video this week, posting the clip on social media.
She was unaware of the investigation until now and felt compelled to speak out after coming across the case of the unknown person, hoping that it would bring closure to the grieving family.

Police and the coroner have not yet officially identified him, but they have released a photo of his face and the clothes he was wearing.
The man’s appearance bears an eerie resemblance to the man seen in the images.
A police spokesperson told DailyMail.com that the investigation is still ongoing and that identification of the body is ‘pending appropriate notification from the family’.
“Upon arrival, officers located an unconscious, unidentified and unresponsive male in the water. The FDNY removed the helpless male from the water and EMS pronounced him dead at the scene,” police said, adding that the coroner is tasked with determining the cause of death.
Her Ring camera footage shows a man, who police believe is under 30, repeatedly coming to her door and trying to get in.
In the visions from late February, it appears that the man, who police are still trying to identify, is wearing the same clothes he was found wearing on March 1, 2024.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the man on the Ring camera is actually the same man who was pulled from the Bronx River, but the woman said she is confident it is the same person.
“He was literally in my building a few months ago, wearing the exact same clothes,” she said.
‘He tried to break my door down. I panicked.’
The woman said she didn’t recognize him and so told him through the camera to “stay the hell away from my door,” at which point he initially walked away.
She claimed he said, “They sent me,” which only made her more confused and scared.
‘H“He’s wearing a Nike shirt and a pair of Fly sneakers. He can’t be homeless, so I’m just standing there yelling and telling him to get out of the hallway,” she said.
“He came to my door four times… literally from 3:00 to 4:30 when I had to pick up my kids.”

The body was also found wearing this ‘red Nike zip-up hoodie, size medium’ – identical to the jacket the man is wearing in the Ring camera footage
The woman said she has since turned over all footage from her Ring camera to police and has contacted the coroner.
According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, the man is estimated to be between 17 and 25 years old and was “found in the Bronx River near Starlight Park.”
“There are no clues as to his identity,” his profile reads.
The man has long, curly, dark hair, brown eyes and no tattoos.
