HARTFORD, Conn. — A woman and a baby were shot to death Tuesday while sitting in a car in Hartford, Connecticut, after another vehicle pulled up next to them and started shooting, police said.
Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department said the 20-year-old woman is believed to be the mother of the 4-month-old boy.
It was not immediately clear what prompted the shooting, which happened on New Britain Avenue near Hillside Avenue and Zion Street around 3 p.m.
Another man who was in the car with the two victims was also shot, but his injuries are not life-threatening, Boisvert said.
