A woman who was allegedly filmed performing sex acts on a live trout has appeared in court for the first time.
Catherine June Lee, 58, from the Hobart suburb of Howden, faces three charges relating to bestiality material allegedly produced between February 2022 and January 2023.
She is charged with one count of possession of a bestiality product and two counts of making or reproducing a bestiality product.
Lee appeared in Hobart District Court on Monday, dressed in a black suit, asking for an adjournment without plea.
The magistrate granted Lee a reprieve until October, The Mercury reported.
Police say the disturbing video shows Lee lying on a boat at sea somewhere south of Tasmania while her male co-defendant uses a live trout to perform sex acts on her.
Court documents show the footage shows “sexual activity” between Lee and Trout.
Lee’s co-defendant, Ashley David Hallam, 55, appeared in court in May this year but has not yet entered a plea.
Catherine Lee June’s co-defendant Ashley Hallam was also charged in February 2023

The pair were arrested and charged by police in February 2023.
At the time, police reminded the public that possessing or distributing bestiality material is a criminal offence.
