Woman admits to EATING her grandmother’s remains and cooking them in a pasta dish in shock radio confessional: ‘I ate my Nan’

A woman has shocked radio listeners after appearing on a Melbourne breakfast show to confess to eating her grandmother’s ashes.

Fox’s Fifi, Fev and Nick were stunned when they took the woman’s call during Tuesday’s “Cashfessional” segment.

After host Brendan “Fev” Fevola, 43, asked Narre Warren’s Cheyenne what she wanted to confess, she bluntly stated that she had consumed her grandmother’s ashes.

“I ate my grandmother,” she said. ‘My grandmother died and was cremated in August last year.

“My family and I were in mourning, so we went to Mom’s one night and thought we’d cheer her up… let’s eat Grandma.”

Cheyenne said she put some of her grandmother’s ashes in a bowl and ate them.

As she casually explained her strange behavior, all three hosts all gasped in shock.

But Cheyenne continued her story completely undeterred, further revealing that she also fed some of the ashes to her unsuspecting brother after putting them in a pasta dish.

“After I did it once, I let mom do it because I didn’t want to be alone in it. But that’s not the only part of the story… this is the part I haven’t told anyone. My brother got out of prison not too long ago…” she explained.

“Oh God,” Fev said, afraid of where the story would go next.

The caller said her ex-con brother was coming to stay with her and she thought it would be funny to prank him.

“I put some of Nan’s ashes in the pasta sauce,” Cheyenne said as she giggled on the phone.

Co-host Fifi Box, 47, expressed her deep shock at the confession.

‘This means so much to me. I’m taking this to heart…” she said, before bringing herself to ask a follow-up question.

“Have you stopped eating her?” Fifi asked.

“I say yes for you, Fifi,” Cheyenne replied. ‘[I eat her] for fun.’

She continued to insist that she feels closer than ever to her grandmother.

“Nan will live on forever through me,” she concluded.

Fev summed up the feelings of everyone in the studio when he said: ‘I’m a bit shocked. I don’t get scared that often.’
