Woman accused of stealing Emily In Paris star Lily Collins’ wedding and engagement rings, and credit cards from West Hollywood spa created fake IDs to buy $67,000 in jewelry

The thief who allegedly stole actress Lily Collins’ “exceptionally rare” wedding rings and credit cards has been identified by investigators.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Andreea Catalina Rosca, who allegedly stole the “Emily in Paris” star’s belongings from a spa at a luxury Los Angeles hotel in May.

The LA County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in capturing the suspect, who has ties to Romanian organized theft groups, police say.

Rosca allegedly stole the actress’ engagement ring, wedding ring, electronics and credit cards, and used stolen information to create fake IDs and purchase more than $67,000 worth of jewelry.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect, who allegedly used the alias Nicole Morri

Rosca is accused of forging a new identity through her criminal activities using a Washington State ID card, creating a fake ID under the name “Nicole Morri.”

Anyone with information about Rosca is urged to contact the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Office; she is described as a white adult, approximately 34 years old, 6 feet tall, 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Her alleged ties to Romanian organized crime have seen her travel across the United States to target unsuspecting victims, with Collins becoming one after taking a luxury spa trip in the spring.

Collins, 34, was enjoying a relaxing day in West Hollywood when she put her valuables in storage at the hotel spa.

When the star returned, she found her belongings had been swiped, but there was no sign of forced entry.

Collins previously opened up about her heartbreak when she lost her precious engagement ring, revealing it was custom designed by her husband, filmmaker Charlie McDowell.

Speaking on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Lily revealed: ‘It’s a rose cut diamond. Charlie designed it together with Irene (Irene Neuwirth Jewellery).

Collins and McDowell got engaged in September 2020 and tied the knot the following year.

Bonnie Dudeney, a private jeweler, gave her expert opinion on the gem to HELLO! Online: ‘This looks like a very nice rose cut diamond and probably weighs between 2 and 3 carats.

‘This style of diamond always appears larger because it is cut flatter than traditional modern diamonds. It has a beautiful ‘pale pink’ color and is exceptionally rare.

‘Although it’s difficult to put a value on it, it would certainly fetch a retail price in excess of £65,000.’

Collins got engaged to filmmaker Charlie McDowell – who designed the ring with a jeweler – in September 2020 and the couple tied the knot the following year.

Benjamin Ackerman, 37, was convicted Wednesday of masterminding burglaries among the rich and famous by posing as a real estate agent.

He was framed for his role in stealing millions of dollars worth of jewelry, designer bags, shoes and artwork from celebrity victims including Usher and Adam Lampert.

Over a period of nearly two years, from December 2016 to July 2018, at least $5.5 million was taken from homes – with one Beverly Hills home losing 150 luxury items, totaling $2.5 million in a single raid .
