Woman, 26, told she looked pregnant at Woolworths while buying flowers for her son’s grave

Mum, 26, heartbroken after a stranger told her she looked pregnant while buying flowers for her baby’s grave, before making a shocking revelation

A young disability support worker was buying flowers for the grave of her stillborn son when a stranger approached her and said she looked pregnant.

Lana, from Sydney, was shocked by the comment, but decided to take a pregnancy test just to be sure.

The 26-year-old unfortunately had a stillbirth. three months earlier on August 5, 2022 and was recovering from the loss.

“I was on the road at Woolies and I was buying some flowers to put on my son’s grave,” she said in a TikTok. video.

“And this lady comes up to me, looks me up and down, and says, ‘You’re pregnant.'”

She turns to the side, rubs her stomach, and says, ‘Do I look pregnant? No! So you can bet I ran straight to the pregnancy test aisle and got a seven pack of pregnancy tests.’

But little did she know that she was, in fact, a week or two pregnant.

At the time, she was buying flowers for her stillborn son three months earlier.

Lana, from Sydney, was shocked when a stranger approached her at Woolworths, told her she looked pregnant and encouraged her to get tested.

In the video shared in November of last year, Lana recounts her reaction to meeting the woman in the supermarket.

‘I’m going to take this (the pregnancy test), right now. I had to run straight home and grab one. I still have six days before my period, I feel a little off, but that is probably due to my thyroid, ”she said.

I think it is negative. It has to be negative. Safely. Let’s do it.’

After taking the test, they stare at it for three minutes, though most choose not to stare at the result during that time. Then she is speechless by what she sees.

“There’s definitely a weak line there,” he said, showing the result to the camera.

With her hand covering her mouth, Lana begins to cry and says that she needs to call her partner.

The next day, Lana posted a second video sharing more details about the Woolies woman.

‘I’m still in disbelief. The fact that Mrs. Woolworths did it right. I don’t know it from a bar of soap,” she said.

‘Little backstory, he actually came walking towards me while looking at flowers.

“She confronts me and says, ‘Hello, I’m sorry to bother you, but I’m a psychic medium and I feel things too. I was wondering, this may sound confrontational, but have you taken a pregnancy test lately?'”

The woman then encouraged Lana to get tested just to be sure.

Since then, Lana has been documenting her pregnancy and is expecting a baby in July.

Hundreds of people also congratulated Lana in comments on her videos.

‘Ok WOW, literally crying. This is incredible!’ one wrote, another added: ‘Crying right here. That lady was sent to you by your boy.

Whoever that woman is, she knows all things. Your baby is COMING BACK to you,’ added a third.
