Woman, 24, who became a prostitute at AGE 15 to earn money for a PHONE lays bare her ‘wild’ experiences with ‘old, unattractive’ clients and ‘violent pimps’ – as she reveals how she finally turned her life around to become a married mom-of-one
A 24-year-old woman has described her ‘wild’ lifestyle that led her to become a sex worker from the age of 15 – and how her husband eventually helped her get out of the ‘depressing’ and ‘lonely’ industry.
The anonymous mother of one from Kansas took to Reddit to open up about the “violence” she saw and experienced while working as an escort as a teenager.
She explained that she found herself at the center of the chaos until she met her husband, adding that he was the only person who “cared” and wanted her to be okay.
In the AMA (ask me anything) subreddit, the unknown woman answered people’s questions about the industry and how she got out.

The anonymous mother of one from Kansas took to Reddit to talk about the ‘violence’ she saw and experienced while working as an escort as a teenager
She titled the post: “I was an escort/prostitute. Now I am married and have one child. Ask me anything.’
The mother wrote: ‘[I’m a] 24 year old woman. [I] was an escort from 15 to 21. Wanted a** s***. Pimps, violence, etc. I’ve seen a lot [bulls***] and done a lot [bulls***]. I’ve never used drugs other than booze. I’ve always acted old[er] than me.’
In the comments section, she explained that at age 15, she started lying about her age and going on dates with older men “just for fun.”
Her life as a sex worker started when she broke her phone and was too afraid to ask her parents for a new one, so she started charging men to have sex with her and to be near her.
The mother explained that her parents were always working and knew nothing about her life in the industry.
‘My mother was at home and she didn’t care as long as my grades were good. She didn’t know, she just thought I was running around the streets as a kid, I guess. My father was always working. They are older and just didn’t know,” she wrote.
She confessed that she lost her virginity at the age of 13 to her friend’s brother, who was five years older than her.
‘Virginity was at age 13 for my friend’s brother. He was 18. I had no idea about sex,” she said.
In addition to getting paid to have sex, she also revealed that she had “over 100” partners she dated.
‘I stepped out when I met my husband, I finally had someone who cared about me and wanted me to be okay. I was so alone and depressed doing things like that. He accepted me as I was. He took me away from that.
People on the internet flooded the comments section asking her a slew of questions
“I got away with no problems, but now with mental things about my past,” she said.
The former sex worker also opened up about the type of client she often had, admitting that she once got too close to a client.
She added: “I had a lot of repeat customers. They were my favorite because I could trust them and we bonded. I actually hated meeting new guys because you just never know! I became attached to about three men. I was excited to see them and I once had sex with one of them for fun. Then I started paying again, because I thought: what the hell am I doing!’
When it came to the physical appearance of the men she had sex with, the mother of one said they weren’t her type at all.
‘Most of the men were old and unattractive and REALLY not my type… I didn’t often look at them during sex or whatever. I avoided that as much as possible,” she revealed.
When asked about prices, she said she often made her services more expensive in the hope that she wouldn’t have to have sex with more men than necessary.
She admitted, “I charged $100-$120 for 10-15 minutes, $160-$180 for 30 minutes and $250-$300 for an hour. I didn’t like hours because men can’t even go for an hour, so I would make it ‘pricey’ hoping they wouldn’t.”
The former sex worker also shared a terrifying moment in the industry. She explained that it happened when a client took her gun from her.
‘The most terrifying experience was the time I left my gun on the kitchen counter and the date I was seeing at the time picked it up and stole it. “I didn’t know what the hell he was going to do,” she said.
The mother-of-one said she finally came out when she was 21, after meeting her husband through ‘social media’. She explained that he didn’t care about her past, and revealed how he reacted when she first told him.
She added: “We don’t talk about it. We live a normal life. We were friends for a few years, but not very close, so he knew before we started seeing each other. We originally met at a friendly meeting with him and some guys and me and my home girls. [I] didn’t really like him enough to be with until one day he randomly asked me to come over on Facebook and hang out because he was lonely and so was I. We’ve been together since that day. ‘
The former sex worker noted that her past had not affected her relationship with her child and that she now lives a very ‘normal’ life.
‘I’m a normal mother, I wake up every morning before I go to work. And make breakfast. And we all leave to drop the baby off at daycare and go to work. It’s a normal life. I read, sing and dance with my baby, and we go on family outings to the park, the zoo and other things. It’s very normal,” she said.
