Woman, 21, who duped teenager girl into sex’ tells assault trial ‘victim knew her true gender’
A woman who posed as a boy named George to lure a teenage girl into sex believed the alleged victim had discovered her true gender, she told a jury today.
Georgia Bilham, 21, admitted she pretended to be a young man named George Parry when the pair met, keeping her hood up to hide her long blonde hair even when they slept together.
But when she first testified at her trial today, she insisted she believed the alleged victim saw through her disguise shortly after their first kiss.
“I think she knew I was a girl,” she said.
Bilham insisted that her elaborate lies throughout the relationship were to hide the fact that she was Georgia Bilham – not to trick her into having sex thinking she was a boy.
Georgia Bilham, (pictured) of Alpraham, Cheshire, is charged with nine counts of assault and eight counts of penetrative assault, all of which she denies.

She said she maintained the fiction to avoid “finding out it was me,” as friends and family knew nothing about the relationship.
Bilham – who described herself as “a bit of a tomboy” growing up – insisted she was “straight”.
But she said her mother “wouldn’t have been very happy” if she had entered into a same-sex relationship.
She accuses of creating a false identity on Snapchat before meeting the nearsighted teen, which left her “essentially blind” by taking off her glasses.
The girl – whose identity is legally protected – would only find out the truth after her mother became suspicious.
As a result, she began researching “his” real identity on social media and realized that “George” was really Georgia, the trial has heard.
Today, Bilham denied ever putting anything in her underwear to mimic a penis.
She admitted to wearing Calvin Klein underwear during one of their encounters, but insisted they were girls’ pants.
She also claimed that the alleged victim sometimes had her glasses on when she was with her as ‘George’, and that she commented on how ‘he’ had ‘his’ eyebrows dyed.

Bilham, from Alpraham, Cheshire, is charged with nine counts of assault and eight counts of penetrative assault, all of which she denies.
Today she told the Chester Crown Court jury that she was “a bit of a tomboy” growing up and that her mother always called her “George.”
Dressed in a loose-fitting beige sweater and with her hair down, Bilham said she never thought about changing gender.
But she “doubted” her sexual orientation when she was about 15, she said.
Bilham said she had always considered herself ‘straight’ – but asked if it was true to say that of the time of the alleged crimes, she replied: ‘No’.
Asked by her lawyer, Martine Snowdon, how her mother would have felt if she had been in a same-sex relationship, Bilham said, “She wouldn’t have been very happy about it.”
Bilham said she created the George Parry Snapchat profile when she was about 15, using a photo of a boy with spiky blonde hair from someone she knew at school and said she was from Birmingham.
She did this as “an escape” because “I wasn’t happy with myself,” she said.
The pair exchanged messages and met around the same time, with Bilham in the guise of ‘George’.
But she said afterwards that the alleged victim sent her a message saying she was ‘weird’ – which she says meant she ‘thought she knew’ she was ‘woman’.
They kept in touch online, but Bilham said it was a “love-hate relationship” that was “toxic” at times.
Several years later, in 2021, they began meeting again after Bilham passed her driving test, driving around in her mother’s Ford Focus, she said.
In the early hours of May 11, the court learned that Bilham’s car crashed into a hedge,
When the police were called, the teen learned that “George” gave officers her real name.

Bilham admitted that she “freaked out because she found out it was me.”
“Not that it was a girl, just that it was me,” she added.
Bilham said she believed the teen knew from then on that she really was a woman.
She admitted that she always kept her hood on when they were together, but insisted that her accuser sometimes kept her glasses on — including when she went to the beach to walk Bilham’s dog.
The girl sometimes took off her glasses when they were kissing – but this was because Bilham was ‘heavy handed’ and could break them.
Once she said the girl said to her, “Have you had your eyebrows done?”
She said she had them waxed and dyed at the time.
On another, Bilham said the girl touched her mouth and asked if she had “done” her lips.
Bilham was asked about meeting when she reportedly stopped the girl from pulling down her sweatpants and Calvin Klein boxers.
She admitted to doing so, but insisted they were girls’ underpants with Calvin Klein written on the waistband.
She also admitted that she changed her voice when they spoke, but again said this was to hide her identity, not her gender.
The process continues.
