Wolves have agreed to loan 6ft 2in striker Sasa Kalajdzic to Eintracht Frankfurt.
He travels to Germany this weekend, with Frankfurt open to securing an option to buy the Austria international.
The news was confirmed by the club's head coach, Gary O'Neil, on Friday evening after the side drew 1-1 with Brentford in the third round of the FA Cup.
“He hasn't had the minutes he would like to have,” O'Neil said.
“I'm disappointed that I haven't found a way to use him enough to keep him around, but I feel like he should start playing.
Sasa Kalajdzic is loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt from Wolves for the remainder of this term
Wolves manager Gary O'Neil confirmed the move after the 1-1 FA Cup draw against Brentford
“Going to Frankfurt will help him and we can reassess in the summer.”
Family reasons are also said to have been cited as a reason for the attacker's departure.
This season, Kaladjzic has scored just three times in all competitions, with the player recording an additional assist in Wolves' Carabao Cup tie against Ipswich.
The 26-year-old has struggled at Molineux after being sidelined on his debut with an ACL injury that kept him out for the rest of his first season at Wolves.
