WNBA superstar Angel Reese turns heads with risque arrivals outfit… but fans are left split

Angel Reese has divided fans after arriving at the Crypto.com Arena on Saturday in a rather daring outfit.

Reese’s Chicago Sky take on the LA Sparks, two days after the league went on hiatus for the Olympics.

And Reese’s pre-game outfit left reactions divided online, as the rookie showed off her baby bump in a black crop top and matching short skirt.

Some fans took issue with the outfit, with one to write under a post on Yahoo! Sports, ‘Who told her this was a good idea?’

Another called her a hypocrite, saying, “I don’t want to be sexualized, but let me walk around like a skunk in a skimpy suit.”

Angel Reese divided opinions over her pre-match outfit before Sky took on the Sparks

Reese previously accused people of sexualizing her in college, when she spoke after LSU’s loss to Iowa in this year’s NCAA tournament.

“I’ve been through so much,” she told reporters. “I’ve seen so much. I’ve been attacked so many times, I’ve been threatened with death, I’ve been sexualized, I’ve been threatened, I’ve been through so many things, and I’ve stood strong every time.”

Others were much more positive about Reese’s clothing choice on Saturday.

One said, ‘SHE’S HER! WOW!’

Another defended her against the nasty comments, writing: “I’m sure a lot of you just hate women.”

The divisive Reese was a major draw for the WNBA in her debut season, along with Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.

Reese had a strong debut season for the Sky and was named to the WNBA All-Star team

Fanatics – the official retailer of the W – previously reported a 1,000% increase in sales of player-specific merchandise, with Clark and Reese taking first and second place respectively, a spokesperson said. told TMZ in July.

Attendance has also increased significantly, with the league reporting that more than 400,000 fans attended games in May, the highest number in 26 years.

Reese and her strong play certainly played a part in that, as the Sky forward recorded a record 15 consecutive double-doubles earlier this season.

In Sky’s first game back after the winning streak – an 85-65 loss to Phoenix Mercury – Reese scored 11 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.
