WNBA star Kelsey Plum has released an emotional and cryptic statement confirming her split from NFL husband Darren Waller.

The Las Vegas Aces star and the Giants tight end tied the knot last year, but on Tuesday Plum said, “Now I see it’s time to go.”

‘I’m devastated. I have walked through hell for that man, but I now see that it is time to go,” she said.

According to 3 NewsRecords show a joint petition for divorce was filed in Clark County District Court on Tuesday.

Plum, who has won back-to-back WNBA championships with Las Vegas, hinted that she might one day reveal details behind the divorce.

“God has given me an incredible life, and I am truly so grateful for the deep love of my family and friends. One day I will share my story, today is not that day.

“Thank you for the grace to process my pain, forgive and move on. Today and every day I will continue to choose joy. Lots of love KP’

Waller, the highest-paid tight end in the NFL with a salary of about $17 million, has so far remained silent following Plum’s statement.

The 31-year-old was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2015 draft. He then joined the Raiders in 2018 before heading to New York after the 2022 season.

Plum, meanwhile, was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 WNBA draft. She is a two-time WNBA champion and two-time WNBA All-Star.
