Wizz Air passenger gets into bizarre fight with woman for recording video during flight – because she’s ‘too famous’ to be filmed

A Wizz Air passenger became embroiled in a bizarre argument with a fellow traveler who demanded she stop recording herself – apparently because they thought they were too famous to appear on camera.

Paris Johnson was flying back to London after a getaway in Hungary when she woke up 15 minutes before landing and quickly pulled out her phone to check her hair.

But as the 18-year-old carefully combed through her dark locks, a woman ordered her to stop recording because she didn’t want to be filmed, despite not being on camera.

In the now-viral TikTok, which has amassed more than 28 million views, the woman whose seat is separated by an aisle ordered the youngster to stop recording.

When Paris tells the woman she’s not in the clip, the passenger can be heard saying she doesn’t want people to know she’s there, and protests that she had a “recognizable” voice.

The traveler continues to demand that Paris stop filming, saying, “They can probably hear me breathing. I don’t want them to know I’m here.’

At first the holidaymaker bursts out laughing, initially believing her fellow passenger’s request was a joke, and quipped: “Are you kidding me?”

Paris covered her mouth in shock and continued filming, pointing out that an entire aisle separated her and the woman, who was not seen in the video.

The unidentified woman demanded that the teen stop recording, claiming her voice was “too famous” and that she didn’t want others to know she was on the plane.

Paris claims she had ‘every right to record herself’ and doesn’t give up despite her fellow passenger’s relentless demands.

Paris ends up switching seats, but the plane is supposed to land, leaving her and the ‘famous’ woman sitting next to each other – embroiled in a blazing argument.

The graduate did not recognize the woman and added that she was acting “normally” before the incident occurred.

Paris, who lives in Liverpool, Merseyside, said: “Everything went fine, the passengers were very normal.

“I remember falling asleep with my hoodie backwards and grabbing my phone to check my hair 15 minutes before landing.

“She said, can you stop recording? I thought she was joking.

‘She looked quite young, so I thought she was joking. Her face was quite serious, so I realized she wasn’t joking.

‘She claimed to be famous, but I didn’t recognize her and a lot of people didn’t recognize her either.

“She thought people would recognize her by her voice, but people are still confused.

‘I asked one of the flight attendants to move me because it was getting serious now, but I think they forgot about me because we were about to land.

“I’m just glad I recorded it because it’s funny looking back on it now, someone having such an ego boost.”

Social media users flooded the comments trying to guess who the mystery woman was – but Paris said they didn’t find her.

Others wondered if the video was real or staged, but the 18-year-old said she didn’t know the woman at all.

“A lot of people said it was a skit, a lot of people assumed it was other famous people and tagged them,” she said.

‘She claimed she was famous, but I didn’t recognize her and a lot of people didn’t recognize her either.

“It was random how people tagged other famous people, thinking it was them, but it honestly wasn’t any of those people.”

‘Now I wonder who that was. And I’m probably sure I don’t know her,” one person said.

A second joked: ‘This lady wasn’t even in the video. Her voice wasn’t even in the video until SHE decided to join in and make her presence known…’

Another viewer added: “Nobody knew she was there until she said it!”

Others echoed the comments, praising Paris for “standing up for herself,” but some sided with the complainant and said they wouldn’t want to be in a video either.

One said: ‘I understand what the other means. “I’m not famous, but maybe I just don’t feel like being seen in people’s videos.”

Many flooded the comments with speculation that the famous voice could be beloved Irish presenter Vogue Williams – an accusation she has since strenuously denied.

Via TikTok, Vogue jokingly pointed out that the woman in the video had a Scottish accent.

‘Oh internet, you strike again. “I couldn’t really figure out why people kept sending me things saying ‘Sir, sir,'” she said, referring to the blazing flight confrontation.

“I just thought it was because I had a deep voice,” she joked, “And then I found out everyone thinks I’m that woman from that girl’s TikTok video saying don’t film me.

‘Hi, I loved being filmed. That woman also has a Scottish one… surprising, I know, because Scottish people are so healthy, but the woman is not me.’

Urging people to back off from trolling, the TV personality added: ‘If you spend more time learning a language or something, instead of trolling people on the internet, you could become fluent in everything whatever you want.

“Stop trolling, start knitting or something and get lost.”

Wizz Air declined to comment.
