Dramatic footage has captured the moment a man rescued two dogs from a burning house after the property was engulfed in a fierce fire.
The terrifying inferno started in the garage of the home in Holland Close in Winthrop in Perth’s south at around 5.30pm on Tuesday.
The huge flames quickly spread throughout the building while a woman and her son were inside.
The man helped the couple flee the house, but their two dogs ran back inside as the fire intensified.

The female resident is said to have returned home from a doctor’s appointment shortly before the fire ripped through the house 7 News.
Shocking video footage showed the moment the local hero bravely entered the house to save the two dogs.
The footage shows the barefoot man in a dark-colored shirt and shorts emerging from the front of the burning house with a dog in each hand to safety.
The fire brigade quickly arrived on the scene and managed to extinguish the flames around 6.20 pm to prevent the fire from reaching the surrounding buildings.
Terrifying images show the fire burning uncontrollably and tearing through parts of the roof of the single-storey house.
Witnesses reported seeing flames up to 20 meters high, with the fire taking just minutes to completely engulf the property.
Thick plumes of black smoke billowed into the air as local residents watched in horror, with the dark smoke visible in nearby suburbs several kilometers away.
“I’ve never seen anything like it, it went up so fast,” said resident Phoebe.
“Everyone was very somber because it was very sad.”
A Western Australia Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia the fire was not being investigated by officers at this time.
Stuart Parks, a fire investigator with the Department of Fire Emergency Services, praised the efforts of firefighters who battled the blaze.

‘The houses on either side [of the property] were at risk, so the fire department did a fantastic job getting it under control,” he said.
Seven firefighters battled the blaze before it was extinguished.
A DFES spokeswoman told Daily Mail it is not yet known what caused the fire but it is not believed to be suspicious.
The house fire is a further blow to the resident, who is believed to have been hit by a car four months ago and has since been recovering from the incident.
Family members and firefighters visited the home on Wednesday after most of the building was in ruins.
Officers took photos and examined parts of the home.
