In the men’s singles final at Wimbledon 2024, Novak Djokovic, winner of 24 Grand Slams, will be gunning for his record title today (July 14) when he takes on young sensation Carlos Alcaraz on centre court at the All England Championships.
The final between Alcaraz and Djokovic starts at 18:30 IST. If Djokovic wins the title today, it will be a record 25th place, the most across genders.
Sunday’s final at the All England Club is a repeat of last year, when Alcaraz defeated Djokovic in five sets.

The 37-year-old Djokovic is seeking to win his eighth Wimbledon title, which would tie Roger Federer for the most grass-court titles. A victory for Djokovic would also give him 25 Grand Slam singles titles, more than any other player in tennis history.
It was just over a month ago that Djokovic underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee after sustaining an injury at Roland Garros.
The 21-year-old Alcaraz won the trophy at Roland Garros in June for his third major championship, becoming the youngest man to win a Grand Slam title on grass, clay and hard courts.
