It’s also been revealed that later episodes will see Wills Mania spread across the world as the future king, played by 24-year-old Ed McVey, grows into a handsome teenager.

And the final episode will reimagine Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles’ 2005 wedding as they were then.
A Netflix source said: ‘The first half of the final series focused on the tragic death of Princess Diana, which was a particularly difficult time for the royal family.
‘The second half, however, is a lot more joyful as Will’s Mania takes hold of the world and he meets his future wife Katie Middleton at university. Their first kiss is one of those magical, joyful moments, and their relationship and love for each other is celebrated in the final part of the series.
“It will leave viewers on a high as the series comes to its emotional conclusion. It was the perfect era of the royal family to end with.”
