Landman’s season one finale airs on January 12, and fans are desperate to see if the series will return for season two — even though they think the show “would be better without the hypersexualization” of its female characters.

Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount Plus drama, starring Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore, is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas.

Described as a “modern tale of seeking fortune in the world of oil rigs,” the series is an up-and-down story of losers and wild billionaires fueling a boom so big it’s destroying our climate, our economy and our geopolitics reforms.

Episode 10, titled The Crumbs of Hope, drops on the network’s streamer on Sunday.

But will there be more Landman?

While Paramount Plus has yet to officially confirm whether Landman will return to television screens, the recent Golden Globe winner seemed to accidentally let Demi know that it will return.

Demi Moore appeared to accidentally confirm that the show will resume production this year

Speaking at the US Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival last May, she revealed that production would resume this year.

According to Termshe told the audience, “I’ve already finished the first season and I’m excited that we can start the second one early next year (2025).”

Landman co-creator previously shared that he hopes the show will continue for “a while longer.”

In an interview with The Direct, he said: ‘As long as there are stories to tell, I would love to keep telling them.

“And I think in our first season we really only skinned the surface, and that’s saying something because they cover a lot of ground.

“So yeah, I hope we keep telling these stories for a while.”

In December, lead actor Billy Bob, 60, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance in the drama, said he couldn’t see why Landman would not be renewed.

“The show did really well, so it stands to reason that they would do another one,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.

“But especially when you get nominated for something, it draws attention to your show, so I think that helps.

‘I don’t understand why they wouldn’t do that. I imagine we’ll find that soon, because if we’re going to do one, we’ll have to start not long after the first of the year.”

That same month, Michelle Randolph added it to the publication she has much more to discover with her character, Ainsley.

“I would like to continue playing her,” she said.

“I think in order to create a character well, you have to create a backstory, or have a strong opinion about the relationships they have.

“I could be filming a whole show right now called Ainsley and it would probably be very different from what the audience thinks it would be.

“She’s very special to me, and there’s a lot more to her than I think meets the eye.”

Landman exploded on Paramount Plus in November and quickly became the network’s biggest premiere in two years.
