Newcastle Knights player Will Pryce has given an x-rated post-match interview after an impressive debut against the Eels on Saturday night.
Pryce, 21, watched by his father, England’s Leon Pryce, scored for Newcastle in the 22nd minute after an offload from Daniel Saifiti in heavy traffic.
“He’s had his moment, Will Pryce scores on his NRL debut, you hear the shouts from Huddersfield to Bradford and even here in Newcastle,” said commentator Andrew Voss.
“What a fantastic moment, Will Pryce scores on his debut, his NRL debut, a fantastic try,” Greg Alexander commented.
“Boy, he hit that pass with speed and it was taken into the goal area, the tackle with his legs was a good one. When he caught the ball, Dylan Brown hit it, but Will Pryce was moving so fast that the momentum just carried him into the goal area.
“His father will be thrilled to see this from the stands.”
Pryce was interviewed after the game, which the Knights ultimately won 34-26, and was so excited that he dropped a few F-bombs during the live coverage.
‘Honestly the toughest 80 minutes of my career so far. “I love this place, I love this city, this club, my best friend here (Bradman Best),” Pryce said.

‘Oh sorry for swearing so much, oh my god… what these guys are doing for me, the way they are conducting themselves in this match now is exceptional.
‘This is the pinnacle of rugby league, this is where I belong.’
An inspiring performance from NSW State of Origin halfback Mitchell Moses was not enough for Parramatta to halt their poor run of form.
Moses showed no sign of calm on his return to the club after helping the Blues to a 38-18 win over Queensland in Melbourne on Wednesday.
The playmaker scored two tries and had two more in hand at McDonald Jones Stadium but could not prevent the Eels from losing for the third time in a row.
The Eels sit last on the NRL ladder with just one win since mid-April.

“There were opportunities that we didn’t quite finish,” said Eels interim coach Trent Barrett.
“We just had no luck at all.”
