Two pints of lager and a pack of crisps please! Strictly’s Will Mellor makes a playful nod to the BBC sitcom that made him a household name on a night out
Will Mellor playfully posed with two pints of lager and a pack of crisps on a recent night out, a playful nod to the BBC sitcom of the same name he starred in.
The Strictly contestant, 46, stepped outside his hotel Thursday night after nine hours of dance rehearsals for Saturday night’s show with professional partner, Nancy Xu.
The actor looked in his element with a pint in each hand and chips between his teeth as he playfully referenced his decade-long sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Chips in which he starred as Gaz Wilkinson.

This year, the television star has moved from Runcorn to Elstree studios when Will signed up for Strictly Come Dancing.
Will has been a popular figure at the weekly dance competition as his electric hips have stunned the nation and left judge Motsi Mabuse ‘speechless’.
Last Saturday, the former Coronation Street actor topped the leaderboard at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom when Will and Nancy’s Samba gave them a combined jury score of 35.

Earlier in November, Will revealed that he collapsed during one of his dance routines when he danced to his late father’s favorite song.
Speaking on Loose Women, the actor admitted, “I couldn’t get through the routine without crying.” The Strictly star lost his father, Bill in 2020, just two weeks after he was diagnosed with cancer.
Will stated, “He’s one of the reasons I do it strictly. I want to embrace life and go for it.’
