Will Donald Trump take a mugshot?

Donald Trump should be spared having his mug shot taken when he is booked Tuesday because he has the “most famous face in the world,” one of his lawyers has said.

Alina Habba, a Trump attorney not involved in Tuesday’s case, said: “I see no purpose in it. Mugshots are for people so you recognize who they are. He is the most famous face in the world, let the country be lonely now, so there is no need, there is no need for theater.’

Trump is expected in court at 2:15 p.m. He is first booked and processed by the district attorney’s office.

It has also been claimed that the former president, 76, will not be handcuffed when he is prosecuted and taken to court after officials from the district attorney’s office ruled against the move.

Sources claim that District Attorney Alvin Bragg opted against the measures because Trump poses no flight risk and poses no security risk. Bragg will also be aware that subjecting Trump to the humiliating steps out of court could lead to drama.

Friends also claim that Trump has said that each mug shot would become “the most famous in the history of the world” and that he could use it to raise millions for his presidential campaign.

Toni Holt Kramer, a friend of Trump’s for more than a decade and head of the Trumpettes support group, told the Mail on Sunday: “President Trump and his supporters know that the mugshot sums up the witch hunt against Mr. Trump and is symbolic of everything. that’s wrong with the banana republic that [President] Biden’s America has become.”

She continued, “President Trump knows his mugshot will become the most famous mugshot ever in the history of the world.

It’s something that will become emblematic of the left’s attack on Trump and any attempt to use it to humiliate him will backfire spectacularly.

‘Everyone will want it. Even his opponents.’

There were ugly scenes outside the court prior to Trump’s appearance on Tuesday morning, when some of his ardent fans clashed with aggrieved protesters.

Trump fan Juliet Germanotta threw herself at an anti-Trump banner and tried to tear it up. She was met with disbelief from the demonstrators who had put it up and a shuffling back and forth ensued.

“You’re on the wrong side!” shouted the anti-Trump crowd, grabbing for the flag the woman tried to remove in a clumsy tug of war.

A second Trump fan was heard yelling, “Get out, you old bag of bones!”

The Trump fan pushed herself in her counterpart’s face, then softly threatened, “I have COVID!”

Elsewhere, a man with a bang and a backpack angrily threatened others not to “f**k” with him. It is unclear whether he worked for a media company.

Disgraced Congressman George Santos made a surprise appearance and was warmly greeted by Germanotta, a well-known Republican protester.

The crowd of fans was nowhere near as large as those who gathered in Washington DC on January 6, 2021.

Instead, a handful of smaller groups and individuals appeared to show their support.

Among them was Ricardo “Ricky Superstar” Varano, a 62-year-old 7/11 cashier from the Bronx.

He told DailyMail.com, “If he goes down, I go down. I have to do what I have to do. I’m here to make people feel like this is real, I’m with Donald Trump all the time. This charge is bogus. It’s a hoax.
