‘She caught me cheating’: Wild video shows armed NFL star Earl Thomas and his knife-wielding wife handcuffed by police after she used Snapchat to track him down to Airbnb, where he was with another woman

Shocking footage shows the moment former NFL star Earl Thomas was caught in a fraught argument with his wife after she caught him cheating by tracking down his location via social media.
The incident, captured on a police bodycam, shows the couple yelling at each other, as Earl holds a gun and Nina wields a knife, in the parking lot of an Airbnb in Austin, Texas on April 13, 2020.
The video shows the pair standing apart by a white car as police approach and order them both to lie down on the ground and drop their weapons.
“Drop it now!” said an officer on the video as he aimed his firearm at the couple. ‘Let drop!’
Both obey and lie face down on the floor, while the former Super Bowl champion tells officers, “This is my wife.” She caught me cheating.’

Police documents show that Nina told police at the scene that she had found her husband and his brother “naked in bed with other women” and that she pointed a gun she had brought with her at Earl’s head, stating “that she took out the magazine ‘. thinking the gun couldn’t fire.’
The video shows Nina being handcuffed and taken by an officer to the edge of the parking lot for questioning.
During light questioning, Nina explained that the scene had come about after she became suspicious of her husband’s activities.
“My husband left, we’ve been in trouble,” she told the officer.
“He’s been leaving all weekend. And he said he hung out with some friends. And I didn’t believe that because we’ve had problems in the past. So I hacked his Snapchat and found his location here,” she explained.
Nina said she traveled to the Airbnb with her sister-in-law, who also found her husband, Earl’s brother, cheating with other women inside.
“I was calling, I was texting,” she continued.
“And I didn’t know which room it was, and then I recognized from photos the lights inside. And I happened to turn the handle and the door was open.’

Nina told the officer she brought the gun to the scene as a “scare tactic” but it was not loaded, and that she took the knife from the Airbnb.
She said she and Earl had been involved in pushing and shoving during the altercation, adding that “my brother-in-law engaged in physical contact with my sister-in-law.”
“I don’t know exactly what happened because I was dealing with my own husband.”
Earl, who was lying topless on the floor, was also handcuffed at the scene but not arrested.
Court documents seen by TMZ show that Nina was arrested and booked for burglary of a residence with intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The case against her was dismissed in 2021.
