Wild moment Tennessee congressman claims Bible has ‘pretty clear’ evidence of UFOs

Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett thinks it’s time the government stopped hiding UFO evidence.

The Republican representative told News Nation over the weekend that the US government has been perpetually engaging in a “big cover-up” of potential alien life, adding that there is evidence of UFOs in the Bible.

Recently, a report delivered to Congress showed a sharp increase in military sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena, the new term for UFO.

Burchett, who was recently re-elected to his third term, has advocated declassifying UFO information for the American people.

Asked by host Natasha Zouves what he thought of the 171 UFOs displaying “unusual fighting characteristics” and for which there were no explanations, he said he had been a “long-time believer in the phenomena”.

Citing the King James Bible, Burchett said: “The first chapter of Ezekiel is pretty clear about a UFO sighting.”

Ezekiel, an Old Testament book describing visions of the prophet Ezekiel, includes in its first chapter a vision of ‘four living creatures’, each of whom had wings and four faces, ‘a man, a lion, an ox and an eagle.’

The legislator stressed that some of the UFO sightings now on record showed vehicles that were capable of maneuvers, such as turns and changes of speed, that are beyond the capabilities of any known civil or military aircraft.

In addition, the maneuvers in question would exert lethal forces on the human occupants of the vehicles.

“If you were human and you did the twists that have been seen in some of these images, you would literally turn into a ketchup packet,” Burchett said. I mean, you would have gone.

We’ve been covering this up since the 1940s. Since Roswell, or before that,” he added, before noting that he doesn’t “trust the government” and believes officials should “publish everything.”

If the federal government is in possession of an alien ship, Burchett said the American people have a right to know and “can handle it.”

“I feel like the United States is ready. We need to know and stop with all the shenanigans,” she concluded.

Representative Burchett has served in Congress since he was elected in 2018. He was previously the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.

Burchett said he does not trust the government and encouraged those in power to drop their claims and expose the American people to the full reality of possible alien life out there.

The declassified 2022 annual report on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena was delivered to Congress last week.

The report shows a major increase in UFO reports by US military personnel over the years. In 2021, a preliminary report that included 144 UFO sightings in 17 years was delivered to the legislative body.

But now, the latest report lists 510 UFO reports as of the end of August last year.

Of the 510 sightings, about 250 were new reports that occurred after 2021, and more than 100 occurred during the documented time in the initial 17 years, but were discovered or reported after the initial report.

Several hundred of the unidentified aircraft were eventually identified as drones, balloons and airborne disorder, or birds. But for 171 of the UFOs, there is no explanation left.

In a standard-issue statement, the US Department of Defense assured Americans that it is taking the potential threat of UFOs seriously.

“The safety of our service personnel, our bases and facilities, and the protection of the security of American operations on the ground, in the sky, at sea, and in space are paramount. We take reports of incursions into our designated space, land, sea or airspace seriously and examine each one of them,’ the institution wrote.
