This is the wild moment when a naked man attacked Miami’s gym-goers after trying to use the gym equipment and then rampaged down the street.
The unknown assailant stormed into the UFC Gym in the Midtown section of the city around 9 p.m. Tuesday. Footage shows him trying to use the machines before stripping naked and starting fights with other gym members.
He was maneuvered off the grounds by staff, where he launched further attacks on people on the road. The footage even shows him harassing a wheelchair-bound man before being hit on the back of the head with a bag by another civilian.
Police arrived and footage shows him being tasered multiple times amid speeding traffic on Northeast 36th Street near the Julia Tuttle Causeway.
A gym employee told DailyMail.com that he had “no idea” why the naked man launched the attack. “The police don’t know either, but he was definitely on to something,” said the man, who wished to remain anonymous.

The video, first posted by ONLY in DADEsays the attacker was trying to get into his car when the police showed up.
βThe police finally show up and he tries to get into his car. Gets tased twice but doesn’t even back down,” the caption reads.

The images show how the naked man shoots through traffic while a wire from a taser pistol still seems to be attached to his back.
In the end, he is handcuffed and pinned down by the police who took him for a mental health evaluation.
A Miami Police Department report said, βA call came in at 9:20 p.m. of a naked man attempting to assault people on the street in the area of ββNE 36th St/Biscayne Blvd.
The suspect assaulted several people. We tasered him several times before Baker acted him out. The costs are pending the outcome of the evaluation.’
The Florida Mental Health Act, commonly referred to as the Baker Act, focuses on crisis services for people with mental illness, just as an emergency department is for people who have a medical emergency.
It allows the police to take a suspect to a shelter for involuntary investigation.
After the investigation is conducted, charges may or may not be brought against the individual.
